How to ask to delete an account
If you wish to delete your StudyFi account and related data, follow these instructions:
- Write an email to contact@studyfi.com with the subject “Request to delete your account” and indicate your registered email address and confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
- Our support team will verify your identity and confirm your deletion request and process your request within 7 working days
- After processing, you will receive an email confirming that your account has been permanently deleted and what data will be deleted
When requesting to delete an account, we permanently delete:
- Your user profile and account information
- All study materials you have created or uploaded
- Your study progress and statistics
- AI-generated flashcards and summaries
- Subscription and payment history (after mandatory retention period)
Data Retention Rules
Some data may be retained for legal and commercial reasons:
- Payment records: Kept for 7 years for tax and accounting requirements
- Communication with support: Retained for 3 years to ensure quality of service
- Anonymous analytical data: It can be kept in an anonymised form
